I don't like roller coasters. The one time I went on one - the Blue Streak down at Cedar Point - my girlfriend at the time looked at me and thought "dear god please don't let him throw up".  :puke:  Fortunately wasn't quite that bad. Well, a few days ago we spent the day at the Ex, aka the CNE aka The Canadian National Exhibition. My daughter *really* wanted to go on the Crazy Mouse. Now on the scale of roller coasters, the Crazy Mouse is pretty wimpy, but what do you expect for a ride that get torn down and moved around. So, having just gotten off of Nigara Falls (a log flume ride with 2 drops on it) I looked at the hill on the Crazy Mouse

One thing I've noticed while wandering around dA ... the photo series.  Makes perfect sense to me since most shoots happen that way.  But it's almost always a portrait series.  Why not landscapes? Oh don't get me wrong, I've seen landscape series but they're from the same trip or from one area.  Not more or less the same scenes from slightly different angles or with differing lighting or even PS effects.  Is that too boring?  Maybe, but not always. So, to break with the norm (if you believe what one person observed as the norm ) I'm posting the Thames Morning series of pics taken one morning on the way to work. All were taken from wit

thanks! :frail:

Have you read Jim Butcher? I am a Pratchett fan, too, especially Tiffany and Granny Weatherwax books.
I haven't read any Jim Butcher yet but there's one in my "to be read" pile. I just finished "Wintersmith" though and really enjoyed it.
I love Pratchett. I am reading "Nation" just now. It is billed for younger audiences, 'like Harry Potter and The Golden Compass'. That hooked me!
thanks for the fav! =D
